Young children often express their thoughts and feelings through play, movement, and behaviour rather than words.
Parents of primary school-aged children often seek support when they notice signs of difficulty in friendships, school life, or in their child’s ability to understand themselves and others. These early struggles can feel worrying and confusing for both children and their families.
As a child psychotherapist, I offer a safe, consistent space where children can communicate in their own way. Each child has an individual toy box to support this process, and I use therapeutic observation to help make sense of what might be going on beneath the surface.
This gentle, thoughtful approach can help children begin to feel more understood and supported—both inside and outside the therapy room.
